Prayer

Prayer is at the heart of our relationship with God.

It’s something we’re seeking to grow in as a church whānau, and acknowledge our dependence on Him in how we pray. It is how we communicate with Him, seek His guidance, and align our hearts with His will. Through prayer, we express our gratitude, bring our concerns before Him, and grow in intimacy with Jesus.

T20 Men's Breakfast & Prayer

T20 Men's Breakfast & Prayer

Men, join us at 6:30am every Thursday for an energising start to the day! We believe prayer makes a real difference and is a privilege for everyone who follows Jesus. Each week includes 20 minutes for breakfast and connection, 20 minutes discussing The Word for Today, and 20 minutes of prayer.

Ladies Prayer Group

Ladies Prayer Group

Each Tuesday morning during the school term, a group of faithful women gather in the Prayer Room at 9:30am to pray for our church, our community, and the nations. It’s a powerful and welcoming space where hearts are united in prayer and purpose. All women are welcome to come and be part of what God is doing through prayer.

Prayer Chain

Prayer Chain

We have a confidential prayer chain made up of faithful people in our church committed to praying for the needs of others. If you have a prayer request, simply contact the church office and it will be passed on to the team.

Prayer + Worship

Prayer + Worship

On the first Sunday of each month, join us in the auditorium from 7:00pm for a powerful evening of worship and prayer. It’s a space to seek God together, listen to His voice, and pray for our church, community, and world.

Prayer for Israel

Prayer for Israel

This group meets at noon in the Prayer Room the first Sunday of the month to pray for Israel.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is a big part of who we are as a church whānau. We believe in showing the love of Jesus in practical ways and supporting one another through all seasons of life. Whether you’ve just had a baby, are going through a challenging time, or simply need a bit of extra help, we’re here for you. Our care team can provide freezer meals, organise support where needed, and connect you with others who are keen to help.

We also have a prayer chain available for those who would appreciate prayer. This is a confidential way to share any prayer needs with a committed team of pray-ers that would love to commit these needs to God! Email the church office with any prayer needs that need to be passed on.

Care isn’t just something we do, it’s part of our culture, and we’re committed to walking alongside one another with compassion, generosity, and grace.

If you have any pastoral care needs, please get in touch by emailing care@tpbc.org.nz or calling the church office.
