What to Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can feel unfamiliar, but we want to make your experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
On a typical Sunday, around 150 people gather together from across Te Puke and the surrounding area. When you arrive:
- Friendly greeters will welcome you at the entrance
- Our Welcome Desk is available if you’d like an information pack or have any questions
- Our team will be happy to help you find your way or let you know what to expect
Families are an important part of our church community. We offer a welcoming environment where children, youth, and adults can grow in their faith together. If you have children or young people from ages 1 through to Year 9, we have programmes available for them during the service. When you arrive, one of our team can show you where to go and help you complete a few simple registration details. These help us make sure every child is known, cared for, and safely connected with the right parent or caregiver. We also have a Parent's Room available if you have llittlies where you can watch the service in a quieter space.
Our Sunday gathering includes worship, prayer, teaching from the Bible, and time together as a church whānau. On the first Sunday of each month, we also share Communion together.
After the service, everyone is invited to stay for tea or coffee and conversation. There’s no pressure, but it’s a great opportunity to meet a few people, ask questions, and begin getting connected.
